You know how you’re supposed to play some cards close to your chest? Leave a little to the imagination? Hold back for a big reveal?

Yeah, we aren’t going to do any of that, because Shirley and Eliot’s wedding day was just too good - too full of magic and beautiful and intimacy that it should be shared, including the stunning photos of the Northern Lights that descended on the mountain for their wedding.

There are some things we get to witness at weddings that are beyond description. How do we express that feeling of seeing a first dance? How do we explain the emotions we feel when a mom gives her son that sweet hug, or when there’s a gentle tug on a hand during speeches, eyes filled with tears?

How on earth are we supposed to express the sheer volume of emotion we felt when the skies opened up, bright, and pink, and fiery, during this 40-guest reception?

It’s impossible. But we lived it! And we are so grateful it was with these two!
