A Dream Wedding Day for Monica & Crys!
It’s safe to say that Monica and Crys’s wedding day was nothing short of extraordinary. From our first inquiry call, they had such a clear idea of their wedding day would be: a celebration that blended elegance with fun. It would include a taco bar, epic flowers, and their friend Grace Gatto photographing it all. Nearly two years of planning later, it came together beautifully.
Monica wore, as she described “the worlds biggest ballgown,” and Crys wore a custom suit tailored for the occasion. Their guests donned all-black.
We loved every second.
The Details:
This might be the most epic floral installation we have ever seen at the venue! With a classic black and red wedding palette there was such a textural, moody wedding display. Wandering Poppy created a massive, horseshoe aisle with growing floral and grasses all alongside flanked the aisle. Greenery and grew along the handrail, and seemingly every surface of the venue. Delicate branches and leaves hung from every chandelier, railing, and surface available.
Tall table centerpieces gave the great hall a sense of grandeur and height, which was really fun to see! Beautiful glass surrounded black taper candles and pops of red on the tables brought the whole design together.
The celebration:
Celebrating with Crys and Monica was particularly special to us because, like many queer couples, there are people in their lives who decided not to support their union. It truly means the world that our venue could serve as as safe space for them to enjoy, eat, drink, and be merry (and married!)
Congratulations, you two! All our love forever and ever!
